Indore Hostels is run by Marketing Saathi (Indore, Madhya Pradesh) and works with Comfort Stay hostels. This page explains what we collect when you use this website and what we do with it.
Indore Hostels ko Marketing Saathi (Indore) chalata hai aur ye Comfort Stay ke hostels ke saath kaam karta hai. Niche likha hai ki hum kya jaankari lete hain aur uska kya karte hain.
What we collect
- Your name, mobile number and, if you share them, your budget, preferred area and when you want to join.
- Your WhatsApp or Telegram messages with our assistant.
- A password (stored only as a one-way scrambled value, never as plain text) so you can log in.
- If you allow it, your approximate location, only to sort hostels by distance. We do not store your exact location.
- Payment records if you buy an access pass (we do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details; PayU handles that).
Why we use it
- To show you hostels that match your needs and answer your questions.
- To share your enquiry with a hostel owner only after you choose that hostel, so they can contact you.
- To remind you if you go quiet (you can reply STOP at any time), and to ask for a review after you join.
- To stop spam and misuse (for example, limits on how many hostels one number can open for free).
Who sees it
Only the hostel you choose, our team, and the service providers that run this system (hosting, database, WhatsApp and payment providers). We do not sell your data and we do not show your number to other students.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. Leads that stay silent for a long time are closed automatically. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any message and we will stop messaging you.
- Delete your data yourself any time on the Delete my data page. Your name, number, messages and login are removed. Payment records and the free-limit counter are kept (accounting and misuse prevention), without your name.
Children
This service is for students aged 18 and above, and for parents searching on behalf of a student.
